I love Christmas!!
OK, so down to it! I finished my dress!
I actually finished it in time for the party I was going to and even though it might be rude of me to say so, I think I was the best dressed! (Yeah I know, I'm biased!)
I still have so much to do with my dress too! I only posted a new blog because the pictures my dad took for me, before the party all turned out black. Devastated! I only just got my mum to take pictures of me tonight when I got home from work.
So I finished the skirt and I am in love with the pleats! I finished my French hood. I have also put beads on my hood and made a beaded belt (that's not 100% finished).
I'm not going to talk much about how I made the stuff... probably because I cant remember much any more!
However on my to-do list is:
- Sleeves. I've been working on them, really really slowly.
- New Underskirt
- The bodice has a bend in it where I curve, and I want to reinforce it with metal boning.
- beaded belt needs a clasp
- bodice needs a lining
